12 hours to go and counting

Less then 12 hours and I will be holding my baby boy in my arms.. I cant wait to meet the chubby little boy. And chubby he is.. last week he was measuring 9bls already.. It should be interesting to see if he is 10 lbs tomorrow when he comes on out.

Please pray for us tomorrow morning that everything goes well.. Tonight will be a restless night for me as always. But the excitement is growing.

Hopefully I will be able to post from the hospital with KC's laptop.. If not.. go check out face book. I think she will be able to post to that soon after delivery.

See you all soon.

Soon to be a family of 6!!

Ouch!!

Ok.. So I spoke too soon on my last entry about no E.R. visits.. I think that jinxed me big time. Or I should say it jinxed Eva.. Poor girl.
So we had a few friends over for a swimming afternoon on Friday. Everyone was doing fine.. Then Eva fell from the top of the pool ladder right on her head, shoulder and hip.. The goose egg that formed on the side of her head, right on the hair line, was fast and big and put me right into a panick.. The ladder is a good 54 inches off the ground and she came down head first from the top. I think she just lost her grip and that was all it took. Thank goodness Tina and Kelly were there. (of course I have to say Kelly took a good body check from me when I jumped up and was running to Eva..we all jumped up at once and Kelly was the poor girl in my way.. I really did not think I could move that fast, this pregnant!) Tina was awesome... got to her before I could and scooped her up. Very cool and collected.. made sure nothing was broken. Then we saw the goose egg.. Time to go to the E.R.
Poor Eva.. She was pretty panicked but did great.. She wanted her Daddy soooo bad. Thank goodness I was able to get a message to him.. of course.. the message was over the emergancy radio at work.. DTS Brandon.. you are to go to the McMinnville hospital O.R. now.. (my fault.. I must have said OR instead of E.R. to his co-worker, sorry babe!!) His first thought was of course.. the baby is coming.. But I was able to get a hold of him while he was driving and let him know what was going on.
She checked out ok. Of course the entire time she was very worried she was going to get a shot.. She did not like the nurse putting bandages on her at all.. But she survived.
You cant see her goose egg.. but oohhhh.. I could not look at it till this morning.. It just looked bad! A bump should not protrude like that off of any ones head! So there you go.. Our first E.R. visit over with. I will be glad never to do that again. LOL.

Announcing Dare Devil Ms. Eva Knievel!

I think that should be her new nickname!! EVA KNIEVEL!! I love that Todd was the one who encourage this one!! Trust me.. I can see this ending in a head trauma sometime in the future..
But then again it is pretty cool and she can do it.. She can also jump instide the small ring that Kia has a hold of!!

My crazy daughter. So far no E.R. visits and she is 4 years old.. That in its self is amazing!!

J.D.'s Quilt.

Last friday I decided it was time to get JD's quilt done. From start to finish it took not quite 4 hours. Not bad. I kept it pretty simple. And thank goodness I did, because he might be here tomorrow night. I went into the Dr's yesterday for an ultra sound and found out the fluid is low. So I have to return back to the Dr's for another ultra sound tomorrow and if it is still low then off to St. V's we go to have the C-section somtime tomorrow night.

I am loving the brown and blue!! And I love the different textures I picked out.

Fireworks.

We spent the evening at Tina's parents house.. they BBQ (which was really good) (nice job on the fruit salad and the awesome pico, Todd) The kids had a ton of fun playing with each other. This was them learning to play Red Rover Red Rover!!
Then it was dark enough for fireworks. Eva was going to have none of that.. kia was great with the sparklers. She only burnt my foot once.. Then I was smart enough to stand away from her.. and let Todd take over.
The Kelleys had some great "WA" fireworks. Loud booms and great displays.. We got the on the ground ones.. Which I think I was the only one to enjoy those!! LOL But we all had a great time.. Thanks again Kelley's!!

Eva wanted to go home after the loud booms started.. poor girls.. last year it was Kia.. this year Eva.. hopefully next year they will both enjoy it!

4rth of July

We always start our 4th out by going to the St. Paul Parade. This year the girls were very excited... about what else... the candy they would get thrown at them. And boy did they make out.
It was so hot.. and I had forgotten my water! Not good. Their was a little old lady next to me that must have felt sorry for me.. She gave me one of her waters.. which I drank down all so fast.. I was way over heated. Then came the life water people.. and I downed some of that also.
This was really cool.. He cracked a whip that scarred me to death.. Had no idea he was up there. Amazing.

The parade lasted 1 hour and 5 minutes.. Way to long for a prego like me! But the girls had so much fun..

tangle box #2

We decided to go do another tangle box this weekend. We went to Newberg. This one was pretty easy.. Thank goodness! It was another hot day and I could not walk up hill to many times. We found it on the first try.
Eva and Kia really enjoyed it this time.

They loved being able to stamp their own books.

Tangle Boxing!!

This would be our first your to do Tangle Boxing. Tina, I and the kids went out last week to Lafayette Locks.. We must have looked for over an hour and could not find it.. we walked right by it several times.. we had no idea it could be hidden under something! Now we know.
Later that day after Todd got home I decided to take him out there to see if he could find it.. Another family was there that had been there awhile looking.. finally the dad found it and we all got to do our first tangle boxing stamps.

It was super hot that day.. I was glad to find it and get the stamp.!! Off to the next one!

Grandpa Mac Comes to visit

We had a suprise visit from Grandpa mac about two weeks ago. It was nice to be able to visit with him. And for him to see the girls.
The girls got to go swimming in the pool and the hotel he was at.. It was over Eva's head.. It was the perfect time to teach her to tread and swim in deep water.. She did great.. I was pretty shocked.. She has been swimming in our pool under the water the entire length of the pool since it has been up.. But treading was a new thing..

He was here for two days and we BBQ the second day.
Thanks for coming and visiting Mac!
