MOPS Picnic

It was the perfect day for a water filled picnic. The kids enjoyed the ice treasure idea I got from my friend Kirstin. It was a big success.

Yes... Look close!!! That is my one year old climbing the huge slide.. I was pretty shocked she attempted it.

The slide has had a lot of wear and tear so it does not inflate all the way, so it was a little hard for Kia to slide down it.( the old kids know how to slide down it just fine!!) She ended up going half way down on her belly then Tina helped her sit down and go down on her bottom. I am sure, given the chance, she will do it again.

Disney Camp at Bridgeport

The girls got to have their faces painted.. And what else,,, a dragonfly.. I think next week we will venture out and get something else.. They really had a lot of cool ones.

It always amazes me how fast Eva can find a friend.. This little girls name was Paris.. Yea thats right Paris.. She was a cutie and seemed to take to Eva. You will see them below sitting next to each other during the OMSI demo.

The kids had a lot of fun jumping and running around trying to make a basket.

Fun in the evening

This is what happens when we have dinner on the deck!! After dinner they decided to strip down and have some fun.

Kia was wondering what was coming out of her..

This girl likes to hang from anything she possible can.

Go ahead... say ouch!! going down on a plastic slide with a bare bottom.. They thought it was really funny to have to inch themselves down. The great thing about eating on the deck.. You can just hose the deck off!!

Craft time

We decided to try out making lava lamps and snow globes.. They were pretty easy for the girls. They got to shake to food coloring in the water. Then I added baby oil for the lava lamps.

We just added random stuff from the craft closet to put in the snow globles.. Then filled it with 1/2 water and 1/2 corn syrup. The girls have played with them ever since.

I should have taken a picture of them in the window. With the light going through them they look much better.

New Park

We have a new park in town.. I had no idea this was being built. But what a cool park! It is by the space building at Evergreen. Todd happend to see it on his way home today, so we decided to go check it out.

Ok,, so what you dont see if after this, Mommy and Daddy got to go on it. We both were catching air.!!

Yes, It looks like Eva is going to fall!! But she had a hold of that bar for dear life. She was laughing the entire time.

Go'n a Pickn'

This is what it looks like when we go cherry picking.. Kia has a mouth full of cherry's and there pits!! I am sure she ate a few pits that day. We went cherry picking with Jen and the kids. The farm had this loud boom going off every 10 minutes or so.. It would scare us everytime. I only got this one picture becuase my camera battery died after this one shot. But what a shot it is.

Muffin Tin Monday

It was Muffin Tin Monday again today.. We have Corn, BBQ chicken on a stick :) Pea's with some sour cream (ok.. so I was trying really hard to get them to eat it. they both love sour cream and I thought just maybe they would eat it with some sour cream, Nope... no chance at all! Eva did try it at least but that was it) then we have Chicken Garlic Risotto (which I have never cooked or eaten before, wow,, where have I been.. I loved it! Kia and Todd did too.. Eva.. Nope!! She is killing me with her pickiness) then we have vanilla yogurt and apples with cherries. Kia dipped her fruit (and whole hand) in the yogurt. So tonights selection was not bad.. Kia pretty much ate everything except the pea's and chicken. Eva ate the chicken, corn and apples and cherries. But she did try everything once!

Tennis

Before Grandpa left to go back home we had to go and try out the new racket that he got her. She tried it for a bit. But then the big play structure that is next to the courts got the best of her. I will have to try and find a court that is not next to a huge playground!! So grandpa and I played and boy I am not in shape for tennis. It was great fun though. My dad and I are so competative. And it was 85 degrees by 11am that day. Which is when we were playing. I about died of the heat.

pool time

After bugging Grandpa for a bit he finally got in the pool.

Kia is doing great in the pool. I am hopeing by the end of summer she will be were Eva was last year.. Swimming around with no help with the wings!! She wants to all the time. Both my girls are water babies.

Fun at Jen's

Jen watched the girls last friday so I could work on Eva's birthday cake. She took a few pics. This one of Kia is great.

First time riding a bike

After the Luau Eva got to take her new bike for a spin.

Daddy had a hard time letting go of the bike!! But he finally did.

She did great.

Kia wanted to get on the bike sooooo bad!! Poor girl. But we got out the trike for her to ride later.
