Cheap entertainment

Ok.. my girls LOVE bugs.. They are learning not all bugs are nice.. Kia got her first bumble bee sting just a few days ago when she grabbed one!! Now both girls have been stung by bee's this summer. Any way.. when we went outside to the backyard there was a praying mantis on the screen door. (I googled to make sure that is what this was.) Still not sure if they bite or not. But I made sure the kids did not grab it.
They sat there for 30 minutes watching this bug crawl all around. Then once it crawled to the top of the door and onto the house it fell and took flight.. When that happened all of us jumped and screamed!! It was quit funny.
Better then T.V.!!

Fun craft.

I picked up a Bunch of flowers from this nursery that has 3$ bunches. So I decided to let the girls have some fun.
They took great care in putting there flowers in the arrangment.
Kia is soooo serious about this.

They really enjoyed doing this project.. and they enjoyed looking at the end result!!This is a great quik, cheap project.

Blueberry's

We thought we had missed this year.. But farmer John's still had some "U Pick" that were ready. So we headed on out to pick.
The girls actually just pick and eat them. Not one was in Kia's bucket.

Proud Antie KC and Jax
This was the team of Dr's who worked on me for the c-section. Dr. David Abel is the one on the left hand side.. He is the best Dr. in the world.. He has been my Dr. from the start. He is an awesome Dr. to have. I have been very lucky to have him there for me. He has treated me and my family very well.. And has catered to me a lot.. He knows what bothers me and how to handle it. That is why I have so many ultra sounds during the pregnancy. I need to be able to see the baby everytime and see the heart beat and movement. I only wish that he would be my Dr. for everything.. But since this is our last baby... He will dearly be missed.. But thank goodness he owns a deli downtown portland that he works himself one day a week.. So when I am downtown I will have to stop in and say hello and eat some great food.
David, you will be missed!

We had to give Jax formula to get his sugars up.. They were unstable for the first 24 hours.. But then after that he held his own.

The girls did not cooperate with taking a picture with jax.. But they wanted to see everything that was going on with him.. including diaper changes. Hopefully I will get a picture of them and him soon.

Nurse Jamie.. Friend Jamie

This is Jamie.. Our nurse, our friend who has been with us with every one of our babies being born. She was the one who washed Zoey's hair with such care, that is makes me cry everytime I think about it. The care she took with her, touched our hearts deeply. So it has seemed right to have her wash all of our childrens hair.. Eva, Kiara and now Jax has had the honor of having her love on them and take extra special care of them. And she does it with all of her heart.

We thank you very much Jamie for all the love you have shown us through the last 5 years and 4 babies!

Baby Jax Duncan.. "J.D." is born

We welcome Jax in to this world safely. He was 8 pounds 15 oz. I instantly fell in love with this little boy as soon as David held him up over the curtain in the O.R. and I got to see this beautiful creature.

This is the proud Daddy getting handed his first son in the O.R.

More pictures to come.. Got home on Sunday and am still recovering from the C-section.. This time around it seems to be a lot harder!! But with two little girls to take care off on top of a baby boy is a lot to deal with.. and healing is taking its time. I thank God everyday for my mom who is here helping and taking care of most everything for me.. I love you mom. Thanks to everyone for their prayers that morning. The c-section came a long with a huge panick attack (which has happened everytime.. not sure why it surprised me!!) But it is done and I am healing. Hope to see everyone soon.
