So the Dr. said at his 4 month appt.. go ahead and see if he is ready for some food. Normally we have waited till 6months, but since he is a little skinny we thought we would give it a try.. And this is what he thought of it.. LOL

He was trying to push Todd hand away..

He is looking at that bowl thinking... "you have got to be kidding me.. that tastes like @#$@! " We will try again in a month or so.. but he is sooo not ready for food yet.. And I think we will start him on avocado like we did the girls.. much better tasting.

Todd's work party

Before things got all crazy we stopped to actually get a picture of all of us.

Santa

We got to go see Santa at Todd's Work party this last weekend. Eva was very excited to see Santa. She was such a big girl this year. She went right up and sat down and talked to Santa.

Jax, well he is at that age he could care less.. but he did not cry!! What a big boy.

Kia... Still is a little weary about Santa.. So Daddy got to sit with them. Can you see that.. Todd is actually smiling.. I think that is the best smile I have seen all year long. And it took sitting with Santa to bring it out.

All of Santa's family was there. The girls had a great time.

craft time

Today I had a few MOPS moms over to do crafts with the kids. I saw these in a weekly craft email I get. I decided to do them.

All the kids seemed to have fun playing with the pain and glitter. Had a hard time getting these things to stand up on their own. That is why the two clips instead of one. But they hang on the garland well. This will be a craft we do again next year.

Thanks to all you moms who came today to hang out at my house.

Kia and her Brother

Kia loves Jax.. She wanted to show Jax this musical ambomable snow man.. (I am guessing on the spelling.. heck I can bearly pronounce it)

Kia is to sweet and funny. But atleast JD is getting belly time. Which is much needed.. really people.. poor third child! I forget about belly time all the time.

Decorating the Dragonfly Tree

Every year the girls get to decorate the dragonfly tree all on their own. We add a few new dragonfly ornaments each year.. This year I have not found any new ones that I like yet.. The hunt is on.

Getting ready for the big day

Todd and I stayed up till midnight decorating the house for Kia's birthday. We did it after the girls went to sleep so Kia would wake up to a surprise.

I also decided to put crate paper on her door so she would have to go through it in the morning.

with of course balloons hanging down the hall way. It was amazing no one woke up when two balloons popped.. It sounds like a gun firing in the house.. Scarred the dog to death.

And yes.. she was surprised to see everything decorated in the morning. :)

Birthday Breakfast.

I always do something special in the morning for the girls on their birthday.. Today Kia asked for M n M pancakes.

Then she got to open a gift from us.

How else can you start a day but with a strawberry shortcake car!!

Present time.

The last gift was from us. We got her a ballet outfit for classes she will be taking soon. She quikly put it on.

She has worn it every afternoon since!! I might have to hide it till her class starts!

We borrowed this seat from a friend and boy does he love it. He loves being able to sit up and what me in the kitchen.
