Las Vegas here we come!

We are on the hourly count down now!! 29 hours left before we have to head out to the airport.. After the busy and crazy spring break I have had with the kids, I am soooo ready to get out of town. I have not even seen my house for more then a few hours everyday. We have headed out every morning by 9am to go somewhere and have not gotten home till 4 or 5 every night. Today we are off to Hillsboro for a play date with our friend Ali and her two kids.
More on spring break when I get back.. My computer is going into the "chad" shop to get killed then revived again!!

What happens in Vegas..........

Stays in Vegas. 5 more full days till I am on a plane and landing in Sin City! I can't wait. The 75 to 80 degree weather is just waiting for me.. The lazy river and pool at the resort is calling my name. And do you hear that... Cha ching!!! The slots are waiting patiently to take my money!
Me and my girls need a getaway.. and need it bad. Pack your bags girls. We are almost there.

Kia?? Where are you Kia??

This was about three weeks ago.. I went into her bedroom in the morning to see if she was up yet.. I did not see her in her bed.. Hmmm.. But I could hear snoring.. LOUD snoring. I looked under the crib, then opened the one of the closet doors.. I almost pee'd my pants seeing her asleep in the closet.. who knows how long she had been there.. So like a the good mother I am.. I left her there and ran to get my camera.. Took the pics and then left the room to wait for her to wake up on her own.. (she is a grouch if you wake her up!!)

Too Funny!! Notice "Piggy" is in the basket beside her!! LOL I will have to blog a whole story on "Piggy" later!!

The big girl bed.

About three weeks ago we were at Scotty's playhouse and for the first time Kia climbed the big steps to get to the second floor all by herself.. (usually eva helps her up) I was so excited for her.. well that was short lived! later that day when it was nap time she climed right out of her crib.. I come in and see her standing in the living room. I turn to Eva and send her to her room for helping Kia out of her crib.. Well then I put Kia back to her crib, Eva is in her room and go back to the kitchen to turn around and have Kia standing there. Ok.. Eva was still in her room. Ohhhh Nooooo.. She can get out of the crib on her own.. Well then I had to go and apologize to Eva. Boy did I feel like a heel! So the (what I thought was going to be) battle was on. I was not looking forward to the big girl bed. She was doing great in the crib.. no problems what so ever. So she walked back to her bedroom and I asked her where she wanted to take her nap. She crawled right into her big girl bed and that was that! Her first nap in the her actual bed.

Night time came and it was time for bed. She crawled right into the her bed and gave us no trouble. Ofcourse just like Eva, I was thinking this was the "honeymoon" phase.. something new and fun to do. Well it has been three weeks. She does not usually take nap anymore, but once or twice a week she does. And bedtime is a breeze. In the last three weeks we have had to go back in there once and put her back into the her bed. (she was looking for horsey) other then that she has been great. Lesson learned.. with Eva we took her out before she was ready!! that is why (i think ) we have had such a battle with bedtime. But with Kia.. she did it on her terms and when she was ready.

My little girls is growing up! That just sucks!

Its a.......

BOY!

Baby Brandon will be born sometime at the end of July. Not sure on the date yet.. Since I have C-sections I get to choose a date. I am shooting for the 21st of July, but have a feeling that will be to early for Dr. Abel to deliver him. Now I say him, becuase after finding out it was a boy, Todd, decided he was not sure on the name that we have had picked out for 9 years for our boy!! Dunkin James "D.J." I have a feeling it will stay the same, but I am waiting on Todd to come up with a name that I like.

O Boy.. I will not make the mistake of taking both girls to a two hour O.B. appointment again! They were running amuck in the Ultra sound room after have eaten all their snacks. Bugging the ultra sound tech... saying Dr. Dr. what ya doing?? over and over again. I am sure she was happy to see us leave!

Back in the Dr. office waiting to see Dr. Abel. The girls love to climb on everything. Eva sat pretty well on the table. But Kia kept wanting to spin on his chair.!! Thank goodness Davic is such a cool Dr. Usually when he comes in I am in his seat spinning around and he sits on the table.!!

Just becuase this makes me laugh everytime I see it!!
